The Silversun Pickups, from Los Angeles, released their debut album in 2006. I featured
their most recent album on this blog earlier, and I don't have much else to say about the band. They have become one of my favorites, recently. Apparently they can be considered part of the California Indie scene that featured Death Cab for Cutie, Rilo Kiley, and Bright Eyes, but I think they are better than their contemporaries. They sound more like Metric. I may be a little biased. I play this album constantly, because I love to sing and play along.
